PRINCIPLE: WORKING

• Essentially it co-angulates the particles ( making the stable particles unstabilized from the dissolved form
• to non- dissolved form ).
• This makes the particles heavier in nature and via gravitational force, it settles down the particles (Biomass/ Product ) and leaves a clear supernatant above.

Where this technology fits in terms of saving

• In case, where turbidity of secondary is high and biomass is being washed away, use of Bactafloc saves biomass getting out of the system ( i.e: The dosage of bacterial culture will be reduced ).
